Hi! I’m Kirsten. I’m glad you’re here.  Here are some things you should know about me. I’m a singer and a songwriter. I’m a  life-long student of the Word of God. I’m a wife and hope to one day be a mother. I live in Sebring, FL, which really is quite unexpected. You see, I’m from Maui Hawaii, my husband is from Montana, we met in Nicaragua, now we live in an apartment in an old hotel turned Bible school in central Florida. Walking with God and living by faith is an adventure! We have the distinct pleasure of being the Site Coordinators (read dorm parents/mentors/student activities organizer) for 12 students a year who decide they want to take a short season out of their lives to come to Sebring and devote themselves to the study of the Bible. We get to watch  and participate every year as God transforms lives when His followers simply decide to take their Creator seriously. It’s an amazing job we have.

In the past this blog has existed as a place for me to share updates on my music as I was recording and touring. But now that we are planted in this community called Sebring for a while, I wanted to change the feel of this blog to incorporate all the things that make up my life, including, but not limited to, my music. So here you will find entries on things I am learning from the Lord and the study of His Word, the adventures of marriage/living in community/discipleship, the pleasures of living simply and thrift-ily, my various creative endeavors, and hopefully more as ideas come to mind.
